Sportsman Boats is a relatively new brand launched by two experienced veterans of the production center console industry. Tommy Hancock and Dale Martin, founders of Sea Pro Boats and Key West Boats, respectively, combined forces to create Sportsman® Boats – which manufactures an intelligently designed series of center console and bay boats.

Some boatbuilders are using words such as “crossover,” “hybrid” and “multifunction” to describe their new models. Take Pursuit, for instance.
“It’s built to be a great crossover boat for whatever offshore or inshore activity you want to do,” Pursuit Boats marketing manager David Glenn says of the new ST 310. “There is a bit of a transition away from the real hard-core fishing [center console].”
You can do pretty much anything you want to do with this boat — fish, dive, swim, tow water-toy riders, take a dinner cruise.

Starling Marine will be sponsoring the Coastal Classic Celebrity Golf Tournament being held this weekend, April 29th & 30th. The event will be held at Cape Fear National at Brunswick Forest on Saturday and move to Landfall’s award-winning Pete Dye Golf Course on Sunday.

Pursuit boats announced today the addition of three inshore fishing/cruising boats 18, 20 and 23 feet in length to its luxury line. Pursuit’s inshore series was born through a desire to introduce affordable quality to the marketplace in a small boat package.
According to Pursuit President, Tom Slikkers, “Our goal is to take advantage of our production processes to build a product with the durability, dependability and quality synonymous with the Pursuit brand.”
