Charles Balch

Born in Wilmington, NC, Charles has been in boating since working at Wrightsville Marina while in high school. His love of boating took him to Miami, Florida in the mid- 80’s where he worked as a freelance captain. After marrying his wife of more than 20 years, Cindy, they moved to Homestead, Florida to begin his career in retail sales as General Manager of Gateway Marine. While at Gateway, his son, Graydon, was born and looking to move the family closer to home, he soon after took a job in Morehead City at Morehead Marine. Charles is now settled in with Starling Marine and continues to enjoy helping boaters in their quest for the perfect boat. With over 20 years in boat sales, Charles has developed a firm belief that a man should own more than one boat. We tend to agree!
